Embedded video products that stream media onto a network most often use the RTP protocol suite in order to be compatible with a wide variety of media players that support these protocols, such as QuickTime, MediaPlayer and VLC. While such streaming servers are widely available on host systems the existence of reliable embedded RTP servers remain obscure. Ginngi has developed embedded RTSP/RTCP/RTP Media Streaming Servers for embedded applications with a strong emphasis on performance, accurate timestamp generation, precise lip synchronization between audio and video streams and zero drift of streams over time. Ginngi's embedded RTP server supports all popular standards including H.264, MPEG4, M-JPEG, OGG, MP3, G.711 and others.

Ginngi has off-the-shelf solutions for the TI Davinci and TI DM35x family of DSPs that include high-performance device drivers and low latencies, which is critical in video surveillance cameras.
